As a marketing consultant, I find myself analyzing the brand and business imagery of other businesses quite often. Many small business start-ups make similar mistakes by creating online brand collateral such as blogs and websites that sit for months and years without ever being touched or tweaked. As most marketing professionals know, this is suicide to a business, especially if you are depending on these online tools to provide information and a connection to your business.
It is important to include in your business documents a plan to review and refresh your brand and content at least every month, if not more for your blog. Incorporating social media feeds and RSS Feeds are another way to keep content on your page fresh. Remember strategy is half the battle. A good plan can go a long way.
